Welcome to Roref Restaurant. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for dining at our establishment and using our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By making a reservation, dining at our restaurant, or using our services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Reservation Policy

2.1 Booking Requirements

• All reservations must be made by guests 18 years of age or older
• Valid contact information is required for all reservations
• We recommend booking in advance, especially for weekend dining
• Reservations are confirmed based on availability

2.2 Confirmation and Changes

• All reservations are subject to confirmation by our team
• Changes to reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance
• We reserve the right to modify or cancel reservations due to unforeseen circumstances
• Confirmation emails or calls will be sent within 24 hours of booking

2.3 No-Show and Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the reservation time
• No-shows or same-day cancellations may result in restrictions on future bookings
• For parties of 8 or more, a deposit may be required
• Special events and holiday reservations may have different cancellation policies

3. Dining Policies

3.1 Dress Code

We maintain a smart casual to business attire dress code. We reserve the right to refuse service to guests whose attire is deemed inappropriate for our dining environment.

3.2 Age Policy

• Children are welcome but must be supervised at all times
• High chairs and booster seats are available upon request
• We request that parents ensure children do not disturb other guests

3.3 Service Animals

Service animals are welcome in accordance with applicable accessibility laws. Pets and emotional support animals are not permitted in our dining areas.

4. Payment and Pricing

4.1 Payment Methods

• We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and cash
• Split bills are accommodated for parties of 6 or fewer
• All prices are in Canadian dollars and include applicable taxes

4.2 Service Charges

• A 18% service charge is automatically added to parties of 8 or more
• Additional gratuity is at your discretion
• Service charges help ensure fair compensation for our service team

4.3 Price Changes

Menu prices and service fees are subject to change without notice. Current pricing will apply at the time of service.

5. Food and Beverage Service

5.1 Dietary Accommodations

• We strive to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies
• Please inform us of any allergies or dietary needs when making your reservation
• While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee complete allergen-free preparation
• Guests with severe allergies dine at their own risk

5.2 Menu Availability

• Menu items are subject to seasonal availability
• We reserve the right to substitute ingredients or discontinue items
• Special dietary menus may have limited options

5.3 Alcohol Service

• Valid government-issued photo identification is required for alcohol service
• We reserve the right to refuse alcohol service at our discretion
• Legal drinking age in Ontario is 19 years
• We promote responsible alcohol consumption

6. Liability and Safety

6.1 Personal Property

Roref Restaurant is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property. Please keep valuables secure and report any incidents to management immediately.

6.2 Health and Safety

• We maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
• Guests dining with health conditions do so at their own risk
• We follow all applicable health and safety regulations
• Any safety concerns should be reported to staff immediately

6.3 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Roref Restaurant's liability is limited to the cost of the meal. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

7. Conduct and Behavior

7.1 Guest Conduct

We expect all guests to conduct themselves respectfully toward our staff and other patrons. Disruptive, offensive, or inappropriate behavior will result in removal from the premises without refund.

7.2 Photography and Recording

• Personal photography for social sharing is permitted
• Flash photography may be restricted to preserve ambiance
• Commercial photography requires prior written permission
• Please be respectful of other guests' privacy

8. Private Events and Catering

8.1 Event Bookings

• Private events require separate contracts and deposits
• Catering services are subject to additional terms and conditions
• Event pricing may differ from regular menu pricing
• Cancellation policies for events are more restrictive

8.2 Outside Services

Use of outside vendors for events must be pre-approved by management. We are not responsible for services provided by third-party vendors.

9. Gift Certificates and Promotions

9.1 Gift Certificate Terms

• Gift certificates are valid for one year from purchase date
• Lost or stolen certificates cannot be replaced
• Certificates cannot be redeemed for cash
• Partial redemption is permitted with remaining balance retained

9.2 Promotional Offers

• Promotional offers cannot be combined unless specifically stated
• Promotions are subject to availability and restrictions
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue promotions
• Some exclusions may apply to promotional pricing

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms and Conditions.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, including but not limited to recipes, menu designs, restaurant concept, and branding, are the intellectual property of Roref Restaurant and are protected by applicable laws.

12. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government regulations, labor disputes, or public health emergencies.

13. Dispute Resolution

13.1 Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.

13.2 Complaint Resolution

We encourage guests to bring any concerns to our attention during their visit. For formal complaints, please contact our management team within 7 days of your visit.

14. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website and will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any modifications.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Roref Restaurant regarding the use of our services.
